Oliver, Extremely Abused Pit Bull Rescue
Poor Oliver was found in North Las Vegas. From what I have found out, he had been wandering the neighborhood for about 3 weeks in this condition. When he would approach someone for help, they yelled and screamed at him and turned water hoses on him. Finally, someone took pity on this poor dog and called. I went immediately.
Besides being emaciated as expected, Oliver's physical condition makes it evident that he has been extremely abused. There are bites wounds all over his body, as well as old healed bite scars. His face neck and neck are especially bad. One of the wounds abscessed and his ears were leaking blood and goo. The tip of his tail is missing, a toe nail is torn out, he is missing teeth (it looks like they've been bashed out). He is very sweet and loving, even though he is a little afraid. When you pet him you can feel his body and tremble.
His initial vet visit cost is $599.08 (invoice in the photo album linked below). Once he is healthy, he also needs to be neutered & microchipped (that is the additional $100).
